What to Expect

Skiathos is a beach lover’s paradise with over 65 gorgeous sandy beaches to choose from.  Along the south coast there are fantastic water sports and resorts offering a cosmopolitan and sophisticated nightlife. The rugged north has hidden coves and beautiful views, especially from the old Kastro.

Skopelos named ‘The Island of the green and the blue’ due to the vast lush green forests and the beautiful blue sea. The town’s port has one of the most dramatic approaches of the Aegean, with over one hundred tiny chapel cascading down the hillside.  This is a truly picturesque island. Of course, this is the island where the wedding happened in Mamma Mia and the beautiful little chapel is definitely worth a visit!

Alonissos is the least developed island of the Northern Sporades. It is the perfect island for nature enthusiasts and those who are seeking the delights of a traditional Greek island. There are some excellent walking trails through the green countryside and beautiful Kayaking trips round the crystal clear waters of the marine park.

• Gathering and meet up at the Marina of Skyros 30′ before departure
• Embarkation on the speedboat
• Arrival at Skiathos Port.
• Departure from Skiathos port to Skopelos making first stop at Panormos an ideal destination for swimming.
• Arrival at port of Alonnisos
• Boat tour at the Southern Beaches of Skiathos
• Return to Skyros Marina, just before sunset.

Skiathos, the most cosmopolitan island in the Northern Sporades, is truly a paradise on earth, with lush pine forests and crystal-clear azure waters. The island is picturesque, unspoilt and blessed with more than 60 beautifully crystal clear waters and beaches. The most famous is Koukounaries, which is considered as the third most beautiful beach in the Mediterranean. When you add in its bustling nightlife, it is only natural that the island attracts thousands of young visitors every year!

Skopelos’ strongest card is its jaw dropping beaches with pine trees touching its turquoise waters as well as its fascinating local cuisine. If you’ve been to the island, you’d know that no one can resist their strifti (twisted phyllo dough) cheese pie, renowned throughout the country. The island enjoyed international acclaim when Hollywood producers chose it to shoot the famous movie “Mamma Mia!”, establishing it as a holiday destination for travellers coming from around the world.

Alonissos blessed with rugged natural landscapes, and surrounded by small islands scattered around the archipelagos, Alonnisos is an island ideal for those who want to unwind and enjoy leisure walks surrounded by pine forests, olive groves and orchards. The island is the most remote of the Northern Sporades island group, and home to the National Marine Park of Northern Sporades, a refuge for rare seabirds, dolphins and the Mediterranean monk seal, monachus monachus.
